New RFP Granting Program BeCause Oakville – Launches Monday, January 15th
*Proposals will be accepted from Jan-15-18 to Feb-28-18 (noon)
What does this mean?
In 2015, The Oakville Community Foundation (“The Foundation”) shared our Vital Signs report which identified the four most pressing issues in Oakville. In 2016 and 2017, The Foundation engaged with Sheridan College to move beyond identifying these issues to creating Vital Solutions. Now, in 2018, BeCause Oakville will fund these solutions through The Foundation’s community granting process.
The Request for Proposal (RFP) process is a departure from The Foundation’s past community granting process. In 2018, The Foundation is transitioning from a general grant application process to an evidence-based, solution driven RFP process. The intent is to permit The Foundation to select a proposal(s) which builds philanthropic infrastructure and addresses the granting priorities identified herein. The purpose of this RFP is to invite proposals from registered charities and qualified donees (CRA sanctioned) to BeCause Oakville.
