Whether you want to set up one-time donations or a Memorial Fund, we have turnkey solutions with no upfront fees and offer same-day set up of your Fund online to receive donations.

The Oakville Community Foundation has provided memorial funds and donations in honour of family members to local families for 25 years. We are the local philanthropic solutions provider, with charitable status, dedicated to building community through philanthropy.

We offer families a number of ways to celebrate their loved one, including:

A Memorial Fund
with Annual Memorial Charity grants 

Name this fund after your loved one and distribute annual grants, in their name, to causes and charities they were passionate about. For these endowed Legacy Funds, we take care of the administration including establishing memorial scholarships. We also offer a personalized webpage, logo design, and donor cards for your Legacy Memorial Fund.

It’s like establishing a private foundation that can endure for generations to come.

A Short-Term Memorial Fund

While similar to our Legacy Fund, this option is not endowed and grants all the money collected over a number of years.

Options for One-Time Donations
to Cause(s) or Charity(s)

Utilizing our online donation portal we can collect memorial donations and distribute to charity(s), or support leading causes like the Environment, Equity, Youth, Arts, Heritage, etc.

There are no upfront fees for any of our options. Costs are recovered through donations and investments.
