The Churchill Neighbourhood Centre is a vital hub for one of the most at-risk neighbourhoods in Halton. ADAPT is committed to providing quality services to many of those who live there, including many homeless individuals who live nearby.
By placing an ADAPT Nurse Practitioner there to provide much needed access to barrier-free primary healthcare and counselling and a vital pathway to less chronic illness, more connections to support services and greater community health. Programs like this would be impossible without ADAPT donating the staff. However, there are expenses that are essential to provide care in this community that cannot be overcome through in-kind donations alone.
